VenoBox – responsive lightbox plugin

I had to develop a custom script for my website to display projects in page with a nice “lightbox” effect, keeping in mind the matter “responsive”, so finally I decided to convert it in a jQuery plugin, giving my little contribute to the Open Source community who gave me so much over the years.

The big difference compared to many others modal window plugins is that VenoBox calculates the max width of the image displayed and preserves its height if is taller than the window (so in small devices you can scroll down the content, avoiding microscopic resized images).

It handles well also iFrames, videos (YouTube and Vimeo), Gmaps, Ajax requests and inline contents, resizing the viewport with css @media queries.
